We could have had light rail trains (trains are a monopoly system in the US owned by two companies, BNSF + Canadian Rail), clean air, green cities, art and community. Instead we got Amazon, and the empty void of consumerism. Money over lives.

In Capatilism, unless you are a corporation or part of the 1%, your wage is seen as lost revenue. The streets you need, the clean water you drink, all a loss of revenue. That's why they continue to privatize everything, for profit to the few while leaving us poor and homeless.
