A lesson from the TikTok Affair should be that bipartisan efforts to preserve U.S. national security are vulnerable to the incoming president getting bought off and switching sides for his own personal and political benefit. Not great!

“The Founding generation believed that oaths have consequences, binding those who took them to a course of action.”

As applied to the incoming president, that’s unfortunately wishful thinking. If you’re listening tomorrow, let that sink in.

This is my Equivalent for today.

Your photography is gorgeous, and I like your composition. Your bio, talking about self-taught, is fantastic. After all, a songbird does not have to learn how to read music to make beautiful music! Keep it up, amigo.

Just like Garrison Keillor’s observation, “Topic: Women who will believe anything a man tells them, unless it’s their spouse.”
