I got that new noctua fan and tested it compared to the previous generation fan from like 12 years ago.
It kicks ass lol. I get 3 degrees lower peak temperature on my 5800x3d with the fan being the only variable, only 73.5 Celsius. It’s marginally quieter as well.

Took my husband home yesterday. :)
Mid day update: he is out of the icu, all machines have been disconnected, and he is using only one liter of oxygen per minute.
He is down from 60 liters of oxygen per minute to 10 liters per minute, and down to normal atmospheric concentration as well. Was also able to move from the bed to a chair under his own power.
