Yes, fight like hell for individuals like Kilmar Abrego Garcia. But by focusing on “extreme” cases that are such an obvious affront to “justice,” we are letting Trump win, that the horrors of sending HUNDREDS of people to a FOREIGN PRISON WITHOUT DUE PROCESS somehow seems a distant concern.

2/Will the government return a Maryland man improperly deported to El Salvador? A federal judge gave them until Monday to do so. DOJ asked Judge Paula Xinis to pause her order, but she declined to do so. I review the facts of the case which are not as the Trump admin has publicly presented them.

NEW decision today by federal court judge that there is NO EVIDENCE that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a gang member and that the U.S. govt has the ability to return him to the U.S. from El Salvador.

NEW Judge says in a written decision Sunday there's "no evidence" man mistakenly deported to El Salvador is a gang member, contrary to Trump administration claims.

And the judge finds that the US can bring the man back.

The tattoo on Suárez’s neck is of a colibrí, a hummingbird. Other tattoos innocuous. Nevertheless, they may be why Suárez has been effectively disappeared by the US government into a Salvadoran mega-prison.
