Our immigration system should welcome - not punish - people following the law. Under Trump’s mass‑deportation agenda, even those attending routine hearings are detained. “It’s bad policy,” said ImmDef CEO Lindsay Toczylowski. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

This is what community care looks like: la comunidad cuidando a la comunidad. During ICE raids across SoCal, #FuerzaRegida donated merch proceeds to orgs like ours - helping us provide legal rep and keep families together.

Thank you for standing with immigrant families.

🕯️Today we mourn #ReneeNicoleGood and stand with faith leaders, neighbors, and community organizations to say clearly: no agency, no administration, and no officer is above the law.

The brutal murder of this young mother in Minneapolis is the latest devastating reminder of the chaos and danger unleashed when ICE is allowed to act with impunity. There is no public‑safety justification for armed agents to terrorize communities and point guns at civilians.

2025 tested our community, but it also revealed our strength. In 2026, we’ll keep defending immigrant rights, expanding access to legal representation, and building the future our littlest clients deserve. We’ll keep fighting!✨

#2025Recap Even under relentless attacks, we stayed rooted in community empowerment. We expanded Know Your Rights trainings, ran asylum clinics, supported families through rapid response, and documented detention abuses. Community defense is collective. Support us: ImmDef.org

When violent enforcement escalated, we responded with litigation and persistence. We challenged unlawful raids, fought to restore counsel for children, forced action on asylum cases, and showed up nationwide to demand accountability.
This work continues. Support us: immdef.org

As enforcement escalated, we launched our Rapid Response team, became a regional trusted resource, & shifted resources to ensure ppl didn’t disappear into detention w/o legal support or connection to family.

When raids began in SoCal in June 2025, ImmDef & CLUE launched the Detained Immigrant Bond Fund. We raised $850K, bringing 85 people home this holiday season. With average bonds at $10K, we can free just 5 more—unless you help us step up again.
