Mamdani won 545,334 votes, the largest vote total in 36 years since former Mayor David Dinkins won with 547,000 votes in 1989 over former Mayor Ed Koch. Granted, that was not a ranked-choice election.

directly at a protester (which I’m 99% is a major policy violation.)
