I just discovered that my first wife, and the mother of my daughter shuffled off in March from cancer. Ana struggled, but tried. I hadn’t spoken with her in years. This story is kind and I think she would have liked it. Rest in Peace, Ana.

Apple and Google have immense power to shape what content is available on our smartphones. When they cave to government pressure to remove certain apps, politicians get to shape how we communicate.

We should be in control of what happens on our own phones — not the government or corporations.
