Nigel Farage wants energy-rich Scotland to become poorer by taking away vital support like free prescriptions and free tuition. And he has openly discussed privatising the NHS.

Only the SNP can beat him in Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse on 5th June.
I get my first name from my Grandpa’s surname. His family came from Highlands & North East. This is my 4x Great Grandpa, William Ross, Sergeant Master Tailor of the 93rd Sutherland Highlanders. He made the uniform he’s wearing - and those of regiment. Served in Corfu, Gibraltar, India, & Crimea.

Increasing UK inequality created a fertile ground for anti-migrant sentiment and Brexit due to perceived scarcity > Nigel Farage and Reform back Brexit which further increases inequality in UK > Whilst Tories and Labour echo them on Brexit and stoking up anti-migrant sentiment.

Vive la France.
France will recognize an independent state of Palestine in September at the U.N. General Assembly, President Emmanuel Macron said.

The current fiasco in England shows that public ownership works.

Scottish Water delivers a better service, reinvestment not profit, and 20% lower bills than England. 🚰

Keir Starmer and other world leaders have stood by - or in his case, enabled - the deliberate starvation of Palestinians by Israel. It’s a shameful stain on history few of us will ever forget. It’s time to stop this now.

Let this sink in. ‘Scottish’ Labour are seeking advice from Blair who took the UK into an illegal war against Iraq, that killed 1 million people & who is now advising on the annexation of Gaza to create a Riviera style beach resort (FT). How utterly low can Labour sink?
Scottish Labour are seeking advice from the Tony Blair Institute for the Scottish Election, whose staff have been taking part in a project investigating turning Gaza into a Riveria. The final plan proposes “paying half a million Palestinians to leave the area”.

What greater indictment of our age than this: those who cry out for Gaza are silenced, while those who starve and kill its people walk free. A world that fears the oppressed more than the oppressor’s weapons is not just broken - it is complicit.

It’s 2025 and too much of geopolitics has de-evolved into modern cave men throwing rocks to protect power. All while many of the real existential threats to our planet and human survival go unanswered.

Every year in the UK we rightfully commemorate the defeat of Nazism. Yet today, we see how ideology still radicalises people to the point where the murder of Palestinian children is justified. History isn’t just something to leave behind - it is a warning we are meant to heed.

I am not willing to see Scottish pensioners struggle because of Labour broken promises.

The SNP government will bring back the Winter Fuel Payment by St Andrew's Day this year.

Ah yes, the famous “best of both worlds” from 2014… Out of the EU, sky-high shopping costs, energy bills, rents and mortgages. We’ve had Johnson - and now Farage looms.

The antithesis to Reform in Scotland is independence. Their predecessor, UKIP, wanted to abolish the Scottish Parliament. Scots want hope - better jobs, affordable homes, and a better quality of life, powered by Scotland’s resources. The SNP is perfectly placed to counter them.

On Thursday I was rushed to hospital with severe abdominal pain and had keyhole surgery. Grateful beyond words to the NHS Scotland staff who are caring for me - and for my wee boy, my partner, and my family when we have needed it most. Thank you.

Reform will unravel when they gain power at Westminster and are expected to deliver for the very people who put their trust in them.

Westminster keeps misdiagnosing why voters turn to Farage. Mimicry isn’t cure - it feeds decline. The real remedy is education, a better standard of living, and hope. Brexit sped up UK’s decline and left voters searching for easy targets to blame, aided by Reform/Tories/Labour.
May 12, 2025 at 10:14 AM
Labour benefited from a political tide that turned their way after the Tories collapsed and voters were simply desperate for a change. But within months of promising a new direction, they’ve squandered that goodwill and shattered the trust people placed in them.

🤔 Scottish Labour are currently running Facebook ads through a Facebook page that isn’t using their branding (around £20k spent so far). This is a technique the Tories have used in the past on leaflets due to the toxicity of their brand in Scotland. www.thenational.scot/news/2511719...

When Labour and other Westminster parties make cuts that push people into precarity, they create a fertile ground for the far right - signalling that migrants and disabled people are to blame, when the real issue is political choices. That’s the race to the bottom.

First, they took winter support from the elderly. Now, they’re cutting support for the young and disabled.

Labour are targeting the most vulnerable in ways even the Tories wouldn’t have dared.
