Gigantic crowd in NYC for the #HandsOff march against Trump, Musk, and MAGA. So many people that the participants can barely move along. Signs decrying Trump and Co. on many fronts: immigration, science, Social Security, reproductive rights, tariffs, autocracy, kleptocracy & the price of eggs.

@repstansbury.bsky.social Loved your skewering of Rep. Comer and his “give all Congressional power to Trump” bill.

The deep-dive investigations we tend to do will often take longer to source, report, corroborate, fact-check and publish, but our reporters are hard at work following up on leads you’ve sent.

Thanks for your trust in us.

Protests and protest organizing is being censored or suppressed in the US. The people who are supposedly anti-Trump but complain or denigrate anyone talking about protests are also helping the regime secure its grip. Now more than ever protests are needed to create solidarity & resistance networks.

I was one of those warning how bad it would be and how Trump 2 would be much worse than anyone complacently assumed.

But even I didn’t have ‘cancel all foreign aid, including to kids with HIV & malaria’ and also ‘let the world’s richest man get access to our private data’ on my 2025 bingo card.

I am hugely enjoying Sarah Perry's new novel Enlightenment, but something in it prompts me, in this year of quantum, to write a little thread on how to think about the quantum double-slit experiment. Let's say it's done with electrons, giving interference fringes in the detected distribution... 1/n

Biden has commuted almost all federal death row. This is indeed a good day to do the Lord's work. I'm thankful to so many religious leaders and justice advocates who helped make this possible. I pray for victims' families, knowing that wishing for death is not a healing course.
