I remember tfg seeming to emulate kim jong un in his first term, trying to be the unstable crazy man to keep everyone in the world wary. (I had also thought it likely he’d start nuclear war his first year, glad to have been wrong)

otherwise, my friend and I wore our jedi costumes to be ushers at a star wars concert when ‘revenge of the sith’ came out and were so hyped we went to a 1am showing after, where we ran into gary coleman and his tall date. he said something fun about our costumes but I can’t remember what.
