For the love of all that is good in this world do NOT buy books from Amazon. Cancel your Amazon accounts.
Go to the Library (in person or online ebooks!) and support local bookstores instead. Please #BookSky don’t be ambivalent

It’s not called literature because it’s to be used as kindling.

Another oft overlooked #dystopiannovel: The Circle by Dave Eggers. Big Brother meets Silicon Valley. Unsettling precisely because it is so believable. 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

The USAF has reversed itself "after uproar." We must continue to pay attention. We must continue to preserve & share the stories of the Tuskegee Airmen & the Women Airforce Service Pilots. I promised them I would always tell their stories. You can too. Knowledge is power! www.msn.com/en-us/news/u...

This! Some of the best thinking I’ve done has come in the middle of writing.
No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you.

Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser.

Spite's a great motivator.

I wrote twelve books that way.

If you're feeling pissed off at the fuckery afoot? Spite, yo. It'll get you far.

Starting a list of #dystopiannovels to read to galvanize the spirit and give hope. Starting with a less obvious one: Red Rising, the first in the Red Rising Saga, by Pierce Brown. Had all the obvious tropes about class wars but add in climate crisis and oligarchs.
