After 17 months with @amberelectric.bsky.social, the numbers are looking good. Average FiT is 22 cents vs my average usage rate of 21 cents. So, that's nice.
It’s our kids and grandkids who will suffer and are owed an apology.

How can @australia.theguardian.com not have heard of Jason Collier? He is arguably the Mozart of the 21st Century. Moon River is a masterpiece of vocal arrangement and production. www.theguardian.com/news/ng-inte...
Brian Wilson was a musical genius. Are there any left?
In pop, which equates genius with innovation, recent artists have not pioneered new forms like those from the 60s. Has the digital age sidelined invention and promoted the derivative for ever?

My wife asked for an update on how our solar system and @amberelectric.bsky.social account were doing.
I explained that we had consumed 20.5MWh of electricity over the last 18 months for a net usage cost of -$140. That is, we were paid $140.
That’s nice! 👍😀

I have written many healthcare stories, but never before have I written about my own health. I decided to do so after learning one of my drugs costs nearly $1,000 a pill and just 25 cents to make. What I found was an incredible story of discovery and exploitation. www.propublica.org/article/revl...

When I was diagnosed with cancer, I set out to understand why a single pill of Revlimid cost the same as a new iPhone. I’ve covered high drug prices as a reporter for years. What I discovered shocked ...

This explanation of Trump's tariff brain fart makes sense.
However, it points out that the plan's success ultimately depends on global trust in the US.
Unfortunately, Trump has comprehensively blown any such trust to smithereens. Sad.
