The conflation of antisemitism with criticism of Israel should be a concern for everyone.

Australia has had a free trade agreement with the US since 2005. Why should we negotiate with a country that doesn’t honour its treaty obligations?

Assuming that we might have paid ~30 cents per kWh for this electricity, we would have spent $6150 in usage costs.
At this rate, we’ll have paid off our solar + battery + EV charger system in around 4.5 years.

The impact in Australia is that there is (almost) no discussion of what our new Labor government should be doing about US tariffs.
We’re focused on new trade agreements (e.g. the EU) with countries that have a trade policy that lasts more than a week.
