I get to read for a living. Seriously, does it get any better than that?
Happy Thanksgiving!

Although I like the "Bond is a code name" idea, because then "The Tailor of Panama" can be seen as what became of Brosnan's character.

Dear Amazon: The Craig movies were their own self-contained timeline, so his death should not be an obstacle to the next Bond film. Just hit the reboot button and start over again. Make it a period piece in the 1950s and 60s.

Best Michael Crichton film adaptation? Everyone says Jurassic Park, but I'd make a case for Westworld (1973). Very underrated movie.

Orson Welles, one of the voices in "Transformers: The Movie" ....
Laughing at the very real possibility that Sean Connery is "the guy from LXG" to someone born in like 1992.
I think everybody has a “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” — my first one would probably be “Vincent Price, the guy who did the voice of Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective”

#TCMParty All The President's Men is airing and I am torn between loving every dry, irascible moment of Jason Robards as Ben Bradlee, marvelling at the non-confirmation confirmations, and mourning the loss of a great newspaper in our present era.

RIP.
Fango is sad to hear of the passing of producer/raconteur/exploitation legend Sam Sherman of Independent-International Pictures (DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN, SATAN’S SADISTS, NURSE SHERRI). Sam was truly one of a kind. Our condolences to his daughter Stephanie and to his legions of friends and fans.

As a decaf drinker, I always felt like my options were limited, until I found this great place at Historic Smithville where they have like 50 varieties of freshly ground decaf. So now I'm enjoying my first pot of pumpkin spice of the season. ☕️
