The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

One thing that’s really striking to me is how all the MAGA supporters I know in real life have these elaborate fantasies of masculine heroism—going after bad guys and bullies, protecting their neighborhoods, etc—and all are agreed that Alex Pretti deserved to die.

I don’t see too many people talking about what an incredible accomplishment it was for MN officials and lawyers to get those affidavits and that motion written and filed and to get a Trump appointed judge to issue a TRO against the feds to stop them from destroying evidence - all in the same day.
