English Common Law has recognized the existence of more than two sexes since the 1600s, including in writings by Antonin Scalia's favorite Common Law writer, Sir Edmund Coke. So you could argue, as Common Law is the co-basis of US law, that this is in its bedrock.

In the last couple of months, I've gotten into Final Fantasy XIV. (I am a World of Warcraft refugee from circa 2009.) The glamours are my favorite part. I call this my "widowed Beyoncé with dark work yet to do" outfit. Plus, the baby hippo a random player gave me my first week. 🥹
Without a doubt I would wear this outfit in real life. "Who, me? I couldn't have possibly murdered my husband!" Moo Deng has not left my side.
