I can’t tell if I need a good cry, a stiff drink, an entire day at a spa, or like a week-long phone/computer detox.

I may be getting older, but at least I get to (quietly, just to myself) say "Enhance. Enhance!" as I repeatedly zoom in to grade my students' assignments.

YouTube algorithm is now basically "you know that video we recommended to you 100 times that you didn't want to watch? Want to watch it now? Or how about this video that was uploaded *5 years ago.*"

Every “new” media scholar becomes a media historian (yesterday I found out my students were all born between 2005-2007…).

Damn. Does putting together your third-year review bring up academic/professional trauma for everyone, or do I need to go back to therapy...?

Glad that this says this is an official website of the United States government because it would be very hard to tell otherwise.

With TikTok’s potential sale to a group of Donald Trump allies, “we should be far less worried about what foreign governments could do with our social-media information than about how our own government might abuse it,” David Karpf argues.

Trump and his powerful friends are creating a dangerous moment for free speech.

My favorite new tiktok trend is the "alt-left pipeline" where swoll white dudes talk about how abortion is healthcare, backing black liberation, and translating anti-imperialism into gym-bro speak.

👇🎯 Folks look at you like you’re crazy when you say we’re in the midst of the worst Article I constitutional crisis in 🇺🇸 history, & then, well, 👇🤷‍♂️
To sum up: the President is not enforcing the law about TikTok access in order to structure the timing and sale of another giant social media platform to his political allies.

One of the reasons that IRBs are so frustrating is that invent their own terminology for forms etc (ones that feel so counter-intuitive that it's mindboggling) and then treat it as if it is universally understood.

I'm so grateful for Governor Hochul's support in unifying our party, her resolve in standing up to Trump, and her focus on making New York affordable. I look forward to the great work we will accomplish together.

Our movement is only growing stronger. Onward to November.
“Zohran Mamdani and I will both be fearless in confronting Donald Trump’s extreme agenda — with urgency, conviction, and the defiance that defines New York” writes Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Opinion | Kathy Hochul: Why I Am Endorsing Zohran Mamdani
I am confident that Zohran Mamdani has the courage, urgency, and optimism New York City needs to lead it through the challenges of this moment.

It is truly astounding that the moderate from Buffalo can make this endorsement but the self-identified progressive from Brooklyn seems unwilling or unable to do so.
