Thank you. There is so little coverage of the Trump-related content in the Epstein files by the major media outlets, no effort to look at patterns or to stitch together all the pieces.

Thank you for highlighting. I do take exception to a notion of a failed bipartisan legislature. It consists of 260 Democrats, all of whom would vote to impeach, convict and remove Trump from office. It would take just 38% of GOP Senators and a handful of House members to make that actually happen.

I judge you for your choice of political party because your chosen party won’t lift a finger to constrain Trump. Just 38% of GOP Senators and a handful of GOP Reps is all it would take to remove him from office.

Each day Americans and the rest of the world wait to find out whether Trump's crazed late night posts are now US policy or just intern mistakes.

It looks on its face like the European population boom in the late 19th century was due to record stork populations. Can I prove it? No.

I suppose it should come as no surprise that Republican elected officials who won't stop Trump's destruction of our Constitution and democracy also are unwilling to stop the destruction of the White House and Kennedy Center, but it's still just fucking maddening as hell.

Any WH reporter have the spine to call him on this with the evidence of those ongoing Russian attacks?

Perfect picture of Trump’s America: A measles outbreak in the Texas immigrant concentration camp.

Er, that was jeering not cheering.

"Unusual"? More like unprecedented I'd bet.

Trump looks around and decides more chaos is what American businesses need.
January 30, 2026 at 6:05 PM
There were only 7 Republicans voting 'no". Thune only voted "no" for procedural reasons -- so he could enter a “motion to recommit” in order to have flexibility to bring it back to the floor quickly.

Yep. GOP gave up a lot of bargaining power on DHS apropos by letting the other 5 spending bills go forward.
January 29, 2026 at 11:22 PM
Yep. Isn't it amazing how true federal, state and local law enforcement agents in this country have always managed to do their jobs without wearing masks.

Senator, more is needed. Filibuster the pending DHS appropriations bill. Cut DHS prior multi-year appropriations. Get all DHS forces out of Minnesota by prohibiting funds for deployment. Require state/local consent to deploy DHS forces. GOP can block or defeat any of this, but make them do that.
January 26, 2026 at 5:27 PM
Ok @nytimes.com now substitute “in all things” for “Minneapolis.”

Democrats must make rescinding that money the price of any future govt funding, as Republicans did with IRS money from the IRA.
