Modding fairly common old consoles with modern power and AV solutions is always acceptable in my opinion. This Intellivision II now has USB C power and composite out.

I take back what I said about Hamster’s Arcade Archives Space Invaders. The photo ver. of the moon backdrop IS in the options. It is THE most accurate emulation of a Space Invaders arcade cab I have ever seen. The sound is perfect, with the proper oscillating FX when hitting Invaders. It’s SO good.

I’m sure this goes without saying, but always check eBay sellers’ other items. If they’re selling a cart as “untested” but have other carts as “tested and working”, it means the untested shit is broke.

I'm confused: is the Virtual Boy headset available for pre-order on Nintendo? It looks like it's not, but I am not sure if there is some kind of bug where it doesn't realize I am a Nintendo Online+ subscriber?

I say it is always acceptable to mod a classic console, no matter how rare, to work with modern televisions, if possible. I worry about RF completely disappearing in the future as a reliable means to experience these machines. Power mods are also acceptable if they utilize more modern standards.
