Yeah just watched it last week. Bizarro world.

“She’ll go back home” you don’t deserve a dog.
January 11, 2026 at 1:18 AM
Love when you stop to help a dog that’s out without an owner next to a very busy dark street and the owners look at me like **im** the crazy one for caring when I find them

Sadly no.

Well I think he was pointing out that all the updated houses in our neighborhood have giant closets and double vanities in them and so *unless we were doing that* there was no point in updating it. Which I honestly agree with.

We are debating moving and had a realtor stop by to see what we could do to get the house ready and I like legitimately never thought about the fact that Robert and I share a non walk in closet and that that’s untenable to most people lol.

Data is pretty clear that police shootings almost invariably are preceded by a trauma in the officers immediate past (showing up on the scene of traumatic car crashes being very common).

This is totally unlike like. This is just nazi shit. Shooting people and loving that you did it.

Interesting data point: none of the cops I defended ever said a cruel thing about the people they shot.

Now I’m talking about white on white shooting here. And you may not believe me! But there was instant and total remorse for pulling that trigger every single case I handled.
Truly not about me but these situations always bring me back to some low moments. I used to defend 1983 cases for a living and had several cases similar to this and it just… yeah. It gets to you. Anyway pray for Samantha Ramsey and Michael Godawa if you can spare a moment.

Everyone thinks EDs are about starving and throwing up but also they are like when you don’t want tomatoes or lettuce on your sandwich but you can’t let the jimmy johns guy know that you don’t want the Angelic Veg so you order them on the sandwich anyway

Literally just tore it off the lil catalogue to make next week. Please report details.

The pure contentment of being allowed on the couch for the evening.

Being a lawyer is complicated and defending the government is certainly sometimes the absolutely moral position but also sometimes it’s very much not.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for her.

Daisy found a stick.

I wish I knew what my mayor was doing all the time. His media instincts are so damn good. Yeah, I do want a lil press conference when you fix that little pissy thing we all hate!
Zohran just went out and fixed the Williamsburg Bridge bike entrance. Just did it. No faffing, no nonsense. Bam. Fixed.

They named a daffodil after you

It’s so frustrating! I acknowledge it costs money and am totally happy to pay but it’s so hard to plan for like three months of intense fertility intervention when it might cost $500 a month or $2000 a month.
January 6, 2026 at 4:11 PM
Also Walgreens is trying to charge me $800 for my HCG which is usually $92. So that’s fun.
January 6, 2026 at 3:40 PM
Health care is so ridiculous. These ultrasounds used to cost $25 a pop (presumably a copay?) a the other radiology place but now they cost $120. Same procedure. Nonsense.
January 6, 2026 at 3:40 PM
But it feels shitty
January 6, 2026 at 2:42 PM
I do have a “welp, sorry” mentality when I have to cook for a large group. Unfortunately someone is probably going to be dissatisfied and I think, personally, that’s okay!
January 6, 2026 at 2:41 PM
Yeah. This is interesting. I have not the same experience but it feels like everyone is so wildly set in their ways about stuff it’s hard to come together.
