It was a pleasure to present at the information security forum this year in Kyiv. Ukraine has a unique resilience to cyber threats. Events which would otherwise knock countries out for a week, are fixed in days, while people go about their business.

A cyber attack has taken down the online booking system for Ukraine’s trains.

All over the country people are lining up to buy tickets in person. Staff are working extremely long hours to serve everyone.

This is a very resilient country.

It’s amazing that Donetsk Oblast is still Ukranian after eleven years of trying by Russia.

Now burning into its 5th day, the Russian oil facility in Krasnodar once again lit the region with fresh explosions.

The war can be over if Ukraine is merely allowed to destroy Putin's oil industry.

This report hasn’t convinced me at all that it’s the PNG government rather than the ABC that’s irresponsible here.

Is this a document that’s part of an ideas generation process or is it actually a considered plan?

The CCP are getting very active in their warmongering.

This is presumably at least partly a response to Trump’s total surrender.
***UPDATE***

Right now, the Chinese landing trials involving the new 'Shuiqiao' Class Landing Barges is underway with two ferries in unloading position and another cargo vessel nearby.

Proud of you, Chris – not an easy feat. Stories like yours are exactly why it meant a lot to pass the ACA.
Because of the ACA, thanks Obama, I was able to afford rehab for my alcoholism. I’m going on year 9. I wouldn’t have been able to afford it otherwise. I am truly thankful. I’m just 1 of the millions the ACA has helped.

Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK and former commander of the armed Valerii Zaluzhnyi has been banned from Linkedin.

Hopefully his account is restored soon. Its not clear why this bank occurred.

Russia and China have their propaganda all over X.

Western social media is banned in China and Russia.

China controlled TikTok and WeChat are operating freely.

And the USA is defunding Radio Free Asia, Europe and Voice of America.

USA is losing the media war in a forfeit.

When Putin speaks about #peace, listen closely to the real message: installing a puppet regime in Ukraine, dismembering the country, and ensuring permanent instability. In short – no peace. Decode the Kremlin double-talk and #DontBeDeceived

Zelensky's trip to London was a success. The UK gave a masterclass on how to be a good ally to a friend in need.

Ukraine's President was welcomed with solidarity, they signed an ongoing agreement for further support. It's a model to others. 1/4

Vance has been ranting and screaming at Europe and its leaders for weeks, Trump for decades, and MAGA folks want me to think it was Zel who started it.

They insulted Zel from the moment he got out of his car. Disgraceful treatment of a country being invaded.

I’ve got a pretty good track record of tell the Ukranians when they have done something stupid.

Zel didn’t stuff this up. He was ambushed. They treated him with no respect from the moment he arrived.

America’s friends are watching this. It’s clear they hate Zel more than Putin.

Some of the units in Ukraine are doing this hundreds of times a week. Air defence at scale is hard. Doing it affordably is harder.

Ukraine uses the lowest cost interceptor whenever it can. Often the cost to intercept is cheaper than what they are shooting down.

So Trump has put the Tates back on the streets, along with a pardon for Ross Ulbricht who ran a murder for hire website and the folks killed a cop on January 6. This is so many different levels of crazy.

There's still something about this deal that feels extremely exploitative of Ukraine and damaging the reputation of the United States. Allies should not have to bargain for "the right to fight on".

The NASAM air defense system takes has taken down over 900 targets in Ukraine since November 2022, with 94% accuracy.

This is especially impressive when you note that 60% of the targets were cruise missiles.

The Australian Government received a lot of justifiable criticism for not returning their Ambassador to Ukraine until this year. That being said, there is still no full time media correspondent from any of the major Australian networks here. It equally conspicuous.
