Get ready for the “Trump was a young playboy” propaganda even though he was 50 and the girls were 14.

"A February 2025 report from RAND, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization, written by Carter C. Price found that if the system in place before 1975 had stayed in place, the bottom 90% of Americans would have had almost $80 trillion more in 2023 than they did."

Maria Shriver, niece of JFK:

He was a man interested in the arts, culture, education, language, history... It is beyond comprehension that the president has sought to rename this great memorial.

C’mon my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny... It’s downright weird.

Uh-huh.

Curl-Salemme has been accused of being transphobic and politically polarizing. She says she’s been misunderstood.

Time for my semi-regular and totally random reminder that you do not know anything about professional athletes and celebrities behind closed doors, especially not their personalities and beliefs, and that almost all "he's one of the good ones" narratives are entirely invented based on nothing.

“The movie is directed by Brett Ratner, who in 2017 was accused of sexual misconduct by six women …”

Hahahaha, how fucking desperate must he have been that Trump was his only option.

"There was not a single piece of intelligence that was shared that even rises to the level of any other briefing that we’ve seen on Ukraine, China, anything…. This was not a serious intelligence briefing; this was a communication of an opinion.”

“Mind-blowing” because the FBI under Kash Patel has developed into such an incisive investigative force? 😏
Gotta say it's mindblowing to me that the Brown shooter is still at large and they don't even seem to have identified who they're looking for.

"... he was served 33 drinks ..."

Presumably the lawsuit details how he protested vigorously at being served these drinks, which were entirely the initiative of the cruise line. 🙄

Rubbish subhead in The New Yorker. No one in this story experienced a "bout of conscience", which implies initial alignment with Trump's fascist/racist objectives. Instead, they are good people who tried to do their jobs and were fired for it.

Essentially impossible to implement except in-person, which would consume an insane amount of time. CBP would not be able to access "private" social media accounts, and could never demand that every U.S. visitor open their social media accounts to everyone. Performative nonsense, as usual.
They would never let me into this country if I weren't already here
In addition to 5 years of social media history, CBP would also require tourists to provide all phone numbers used over that period, any email addresses used in the past decade, DNA and iris scans, and the names, addresses, birthdates and birthplaces of family members
Including children
