Rubbish subhead in The New Yorker. No one in this story experienced a "bout of conscience", which implies initial alignment with Trump's fascist/racist objectives. Instead, they are good people who tried to do their jobs and were fired for it.

Christmas is coming … 🎄

Took me two dry cleanings to get the salt stains (hot day!) out of my suit jacket after this race.

For sportswriters, every PL loss, even in December, is a “title blow”. Ridiculous.

Here's The New York Times's daily newsletter writer, rewriting history as she writes about rewriting history.

New York Times story about "dating" AI chatbots ...

No, thank you.

I would love to see an explanation of a pricing scheme that sees the Kindle edition more expensive than the paperback.

Great example of media sanewashing ... here's the (admittedly mediocre) Japan Times headlining the far more "sane" element of a story, and burying the complete insanity in the subhead.

The Athletic's writers make this mistake multiple times a week ...

A lot of people say he is the greatest dealmaker in the history of foreign policy.

Via NPR. The advice cited from a Republican strategist is obviously bad if the White House DOES have iron-clad evidence Trump is a pedophile ... if that's the case, their efforts to cover up make perfect sense.
