WATCH body cam video of an ICE agent arrested for DUI after his shift at the Broadview facility.
He crashed into some bushes after officers found him asleep at the wheel and knocked on the window.
"Oh this is a fun one,” the officer tells his sergeant.

I'm skeptical that they can redraw the maps in such a way to achieve their goals. Indiana's 2nd Cong. Dist. used to be a swing district until they put more Dem voters in the 1st. In trying to steal a district they could weaken others enough to lose GOP seats in what could be a wave election.

In Gary, Indiana this morning—

Community members have gathered in protest of ongoing ICE flights.

This small, sleepy airport is where many captives from the Chicago area detention center are transported (frequently in the middle of the night) as the next step in the deportation pipeline.

My family was able to visit the Obama White House in 2016. Visitors entered through the East Wing, where I shot this photo out the window from an area that I'm guessing is now torn down. I remember the solemn atmosphere and respect for history throughout the tour. It was a different era.

CPD has 20+ injured on duty this afternoon, most/all from federal use of gas. Related: no arrests by CPD, no documented uses of force by CPD. (I wasn't everywhere / didn't see every skirmish. And possibly some late-entry TRR forms to come.) Saw two federal arrests, saw one on video didn't witness.
Chaos in Brighton Park. This is representative of the amount / direction of pepper and smoke sent into the neighborhood, in this case, for no reason I can discern other than because they were leaving. Feds had a clear path out in a different direction, and residents were vocal but not violent here.

The authoritarian shit is bad on its own, but let's not lose sight of the fact that this Texas law enforcement officer couldn't keep up with a 61-year-old out for her morning walk.

Like the Nazis, these people are evil and pathetic at the same time. Don't miss any chance to mock them as losers.
This is absolutely wild. #txlege

We’ve said it repeatedly — the Trump assault on the Department of Education is an assault on kids with disabilities.

This Ohio district is violating the clear letter of the IDEA but with the Dept of Ed eviscerated and the courts turning a blind eye, parents are on their own.
Ohio parents of kids with disabilities are receiving letters from the school board demanding they pay “extra” for their disabled children.

This is ableism and discrimination at its finest.

They weren’t even given adequate warning. Just 17 days to pay up.

Absolutely brilliant and spot on.
Finally got a chance to watch the @joshjohnsoncomedy.bsky.social routine about Trump and Epstein that came out a few days ago.

I am blown away that he managed to put together a full hour of stand-up about breaking news and it's somehow polished and funny as hell.

Give it a watch and share it.
