The US can’t run a scaled up war against a serious opponent without allies. Particularly if it is a prolonged offensive that requires; Forward bases, Overflight rights, Regional logistics hubs, Shared intelligence, Stockpiles and replenishment.
The average American will not accept this though.

I swear, I wish I could just uninstall every app my TV has. Anything it offers, I have a game console that already has it. I don't need Netflix, I don't need YouTube, I don't need VIDAA, whatever that is, I don't want anything that can be triggered by slightly tapping the super sensitive remote...
