Worth a few minutes. This is scarily accurate.
Reading this feels like a thought experiment about the end of America. But then you remember that every single thing mentioned has already happened in the last 12 days.

I’m working on a sci-fi/horror comic that I think could be really good, but the barriers to entry are incredibly high. Especially if you’re not an artist, friends with an artist or budgeted to commission an artist. How do any newcomers ever break in? @ssnyder1835.bsky.social any advice?

Finished Superman: Earth One by @straczynski.bsky.social , part of my ongoing effort to catch up on the 40 years of comics I’ve missed. His Amazing Spider-Man was the best run of this century so far, and this was a great, fresh take on Superman too.
