It's been ages since I dropped $500 on a single Steam Sale but almost everything I bought had a Steam Deck verified badge and I do 80% of my gaming time on that device these days while I'm stuck at work. And with the amount of standby I have coming up that'll be enough to get me though it.

I'm looking at the Steam Black Friday sale extravaganza and came to a startling realization. I don't own Fallout 4, what the fuck?! I'd never checked till now to see if I'd bought it because I just assumed I had a copy though a Humble Bundle or something.

While I was away on my trip I watched all of the 1998 HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon". That was some compelling television, better acted and more inspiring than 99.9% of any live action crap I see today. Made even better by the fact it's a non stop parade of "hey it's that guy" moments.

Oh boy, I get home and get the news dropped on me that while I was away we signed up for a hydro contract that includes doing all day standby for a crew 5 days a week from mid December till the end of March.

Saw this at a drug store last night and can't help feeling as if it were one of the more cursed line up of games I've seen in a while. Deathloop may be alright but it came and went like a ghost leaving nothing of its presence behind, the other two are straight up irredeemable crimes.

I'm heading out on a trip today and taking a flight tomorrow thus I have to leave all of my EDC knives at home. What this means is I am now basically a walking loot pinata with no effective way of poking holes in anyone who might want my wallet, phone, laptop, watch, SteamDeck etc.
