Watching some Those Who Hunt Elves right now. It's been probably 18 years since I last saw it and once again I am blown away by how good the ADV dub holds up.

As we approach the 10th anniversary of the release of Persona 5 I have become convinced that the reason we haven't gotten a Persona 6 is due to the fact the design team haven't been able to come up with a new girl better than Kawakami.

While I was away on my trip I watched all of the 1998 HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon". That was some compelling television, better acted and more inspiring than 99.9% of any live action crap I see today. Made even better by the fact it's a non stop parade of "hey it's that guy" moments.

Saw this at a drug store last night and can't help feeling as if it were one of the more cursed line up of games I've seen in a while. Deathloop may be alright but it came and went like a ghost leaving nothing of its presence behind, the other two are straight up irredeemable crimes.

A couple days ago I downloaded a torrent with every season of Gag Manga Biyori including the fifth and latest one. The most surprising thing is that all of the old seasons have been cleaned up and are in 1080p now.

This week I jumped back into Metaphor: ReFantazio and I'm kinda shocked by how close I am to rolling credits. When I bought this I was told it was anywhere from 70 to 80 hours to beat. Well I'm at 40 hours and I only have maybe two or three major chapters left, feels kinda short for an epic JRPG.

I've got some time so I'm gonna binge Tohai Ura Rate. I love a good Mahjong anime and the sleezier it is the better. There's human trafficking, people getting gut shot at the mahjong table and people who lose games getting all ten of their toes chopped off. This is all happening by the 4th episode.

Just finished watching the second season of Reincarnated as the Seventh Prince last night and fuck me was I blown away. This entire series has action set pieces on the level of Symphogear's best and I'm worried people aren't paying attention because they see the promo art and think it's Isekai slop.

Woah, I don't know what the hell is going on with VLC but while scrubbing through some bits of Brawl in Cell Block 99 I ran across a scene where VLC lots it's Goddamn mind with the color grading. The first image is the movie in Plex and the second in VLC.

So I got a question. I really want to add the 2005 anthology series Masters of Horror to my Plex but the only complete torrents are at best 360p. Does anybody happen to have a better version or know a place that does that might be rippable?

Last week I watched all of The Shiunji Family Children and it was so unforgivably boring I literally forgot I'd even seen it until just a couple minutes ago. How dare anyone make an incest romcom in this day and age and neglect to put anything actually spicy in it. What is this, 2004?
