As this miserable year ends, I just want to reiterate that I’m so, so proud of anyone doing the work. It’s hard! But we’re stronger than we think.
Drug addiction isn’t something that you ever get rid of and, apropos of nothing, I’m so proud of anyone doing the work right now.

I know it’s hard right now, but don’t give up the fight.

Bill Watterson is best to *ever* do daily comics, with the possible exception of Charles Schultz. Pure magic in every frame.

MTV is officially ending all of its music channels.

In honor of that, what's your favorite music video?

I couldn't make it through this without crying. I know there are some who will never weep for a Kennedy, but strip that away and you have a young mom with a newborn who had to know she would never see her children grow up, and her mother, who has lost her father, brother, and now a child.
Tatiana Schlossberg has passed away at 35. Please read this beautiful essay she published last month. It's one of the best things I've read in a long time.

I make film zines. It used to be my job to write about weird movies, it's not my job now but it's still good to do. I put lots of work into the zines because I don't like essays to be basic. Below, covers for zines about Hitchcock, lesbian vampires, and Scream, all handmade. sara-century.square.site
