Work in politics. Here to provide political and societal witticisms…or the closest equivalent I can manage. Mainly UK, European and US politics, although I’m an equal opportunities satirist.

Also an amateur - and slightly experimental - cook.

If the BBC must apologise for calling a spade a spade, and a fascist a fascist, fine - whatever. A mistake was made.

The fascist cunt should absolutely not get a single penny of British licence fee payer money though. He can fuck off, and then fuck off some more🖕🏻

Anyone who is “pro-worker”, who “values competence, stability and public services”, and who has “environmental concern” and yet is planning to vote Reform, is a useful idiot - nothing more.

If it’s not possible to get the Epstein Files released because Republicans would rather protect pedophiles than victims, maybe a patriotic staff member could leave them in a bathroom in Congress or somewhere.

After all, classified/secret documents are always secure when left in a bathroom, right?

Ah, come now - I’m sure Trump just spent hours in the company of a young sex trafficking victim, in a rapist sex-trafficker’s house, talking about tariff policy in a very stable genius-like way…

If there are no real legal grounds for the BBC to fear a court case or to pay anything, that’s great.

That said, none of the payments made to Trump by media firms previously would seem to have been based on legal grounds, as opposed to just caving in to bare-faced threats and extortion.

Have to disagree here - this incident would have been infinitely worse if it had happened under the previous Tory Government or under a future Reform one.

As it is, nerves just need to be held and the BBC will get past what was a stupid mistake, and nothing more.
