This is goofy but also Oliver Stone's batshit movie implicated practically everyone who was alive in 1963 in the assassination of JFK.
WITNESS: I think you're confusing Oliver Stone with Roger Stone.

REP. LAUREN BOEBERT: Sorry.

WITNESS: It's Roger Stone who implicated LBJ in the assassination of the president; it's not my friend Oliver Stone.

After the Schumer fallout, the skyrocketing anger among the D base, and the increasingly fierce protests at town halls and Tesla showrooms, it's totally amazing to me that he thinks breaking bread with MAGA influencers will do anything but put a target on his back among his own voters.
"Newsom seemed almost desperate to be pals with Steve Bannon by the end of their interview, going as far as to tell him 'I appreciate your advocacy.' And Kirk seemed taken aback by the fawning treatment he received, saying later that Newsom was 'over-effusive in his praise of me.'"
Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk are not your friends
Gavin Newsom's new podcast demonstrates a failed way of engaging with MAGA extremists.

Today Donald Trump threatened Canada with a "reciprocal" tariff on Canadian lumber imports. The rub? Canada does not appear to have a tariff on U.S. lumber, meaning what Trump is threatening is to remove an existing 14.5% tariff on Canadian lumber. Whoopsie! t.co/rGFwCe5I57

This Fox News host is doing a better job of articulating opposition than Democrats are.
HARF: A lot of things that are getting cut are cancer research, saving the lines of children. So we can talk about cuts, but doing it this way hurts Americans and is irresponsible.

MIKE JOHNSON: Stay tuned. Because it's gonna be corrected.

A more convincing rebuttal to this "issue" is that it's imaginary. Estimates suggest the number of transgender people playing public school sports is less than 100, and not all of those are M to F. It says a lot about those who fixate on this, and Matty Y demonstrates intolerance beyond sports.
i always find this stuff kind of baffling--obama was a good candidate. he managed to do the same thing trump does: convince a fractious coalition that he can be trusted to advance their interests. the moderate wing of the democrat party has not produced a good politician in that sense for decades

Trump has delayed Mexican tariffs that apply to goods in the USMCA, which is the NAFTA replacement he implemented in 2020. So he's effectively paused a cancellation of his own trade agreement. 🤷‍♂️ From me: www.housingwire.com/articles/tar...
