I worked my ass off today. Ankle was feeling better after yesterday’s unplanned break, and I took advantage. It didn’t hinder the threshold bits, endurance did that. Stronger run than I expected.

Day off because I was up past 2 after my kid dislocated his kneecap at the school play.

Long Run
1:40:00 @ 11:05
8.5mi 1:40:04
41-40F, sprinkles in the second half
An OUTSTANDING run on a sore ankle. I grew my pace on each of the first seven miles. I held a 11:24 pace at the seven mile mark, before intentionally letting it slip as the pain was growing. Still got another 1.5

Anaerobic
7x 40sec @ 7:20
0/7, best 8:09, worst 9:10
4.01 51:50
35-34F slick roads
The roads were slick, but I don’t think that can excuse today’s effort. I should’ve threatened 7, instead of struggling to get below 8:30. Obviously the pain is the reason, but again, not acceptable.
