If it was suggested that we steal people's jewellery to 'pay for the asylum process' they can't just say 'okay fine, we won't do that, then' and pretend like it never happened.

The Poppy Brigade have been out in force round our way. Just about every lamppost, traffic light & Give Way sign has a giant Poppy attached. It goes on for hundreds of yards.
It’s supposed to be a day of solemn reflection, a day of Remembrance, not an opportunity to decorate the place like Xmas.
