Lots of master studies. Probably will make a tag for them, and not all of them will be posted/will be obvious at first.

Our culture has such a reliance on art, mixed with so much disdain for artists' lives. Someone throws soup at a painting in a gallery or whatever and everyone acts like it's a literal murder, but that level of sympathy is for the object, almost never for the living conditions of artists.

I really like the way I color. I feel like I’ve always been good with colors, at least compared to my skill levels; it’s always kind of just been baked into me from observing the world and other artists. Most of it is learned from observation and maybe 5-10% from an actual tutorial

I really like the way I color. I feel like I’ve always been good with colors, at least compared to my skill levels; it’s always kind of just been baked into me from observing the world and other artists. Most of it is learned from observation and maybe 5-10% from an actual tutorial

This is applicable to more than just art, but if you really want to be skilled, don’t give up and adjust your goals for YOU
I’ve been drawing every day for the past 5ish years. During the beginning, I got a lot of hate from others, and felt like my art was shit. Use that energy to keep going.

Answer is 2-3 hours on average, usually over the span of a couple of days but sometimes I completely zoom through them. I should learn how to use speed and patience both to have the most bang for my buck.
It’s probably just me being self critical but i feel like you can tell my art is “rushed”
