Any new stadium or St James’ refurb HAS to get rid of the amount of grey in and around the stadium.. I’m not after a multicolour pride parade in the middle of a fever dream. But we’re black and white. Use those colours, seperately. #NUFC

This is probably a situation where we have to let the business people do what is going to be best to drive the club forward financially. If we can get where we want to be in SJP then great, but we can’t let sentimentality hold the club back - as long as a new stadium is in the city centre I’m happy.

Wonder if NUFC will be joining in on this? Particularly since it came to light that the associated party rule was rushed through in the days immediately following the takeover. I think the club have been reluctant to put their head above the parapet but this should be an exception

Interesting the women’s attendances at SJP last season all topped 20k. And yet today it was only 11,620 & that’s despite being in the league above. Not sure if it was Amanda’s drive & enthusiasm that was really useful at invigorating the interest in the women’s team?

I agree, for me stadium and training ground are acid tests by how committed PIF are.
The training ground is a lot simpler and shorter term you’d think so surprising to see/hear nothing on it.

Surprised we’ve haven’t heard more of NUFC’s plans for a new training ground. I know the current site has had a significant lick of paint but it’s still well below the ‘best in class’ ambitions.
