Anaaa. Thought about this actually. And it made me decide I want to keep them 😅

No bother

All of them were from Europe.

Mark Douglas brought the PSG one back for me. And another lad on twitter brought back the other 2. Could do £40 for the 3. So £13 each.

Impulse buys. Circumstances change. Clearing space & hoping to raise some extra money. Expensive time of year & have a 2 year old daughter. 😅

Juventus have done it smartly.

This is probably a situation where we have to let the business people do what is going to be best to drive the club forward financially. If we can get where we want to be in SJP then great, but we can’t let sentimentality hold the club back - as long as a new stadium is in the city centre I’m happy.

The latter

Agreed.

I timed walking from the current SJP to the arena & it took me 9 minutes. So not the end of the world.

Defo.

After last night I’m inclined to think that even the most staunchest opponent of a new stadium will have to accept that’s the likely outcome. As for where it’ll be we can speculate all we like I guess. We’ll soon find out.

Weren’t the council recently on the beg to staveley for some Saudi money too? Makes you think

He did say that they recognise the location is one of our strengths just before he made the analogy of not taking the elastic band that connects us to the city to breaking point.

All I think he was referring to is leazes park. Happy days if so.
November 21, 2024 at 7:56 AM
Sounded like he was referring to a site nearby to be honest.

But he offered that analogy immediately after saying they recognise the importance of location as one of our main strengths. Sounds like we’ll find out fairly shortly what the outcome is.

Doesn’t sound like it’s going to be too far away going off the analogy Brad Miller used.

I couldn’t possibly guess at percentage of attendees. I did see many familiar faces who I know to be season ticket holders.

The audience participation was interesting. Show of hands for preferring to stay or new stadium.

I’d estimate at least 80% of the show of hands were raised for new stadium.
