Now backed up by the data. #nufc

Also the reason why using underlying performance data helps is it provides context on a game. Wolves are defensively no worse than half the league! #nufc

I watched a lot of the Arsenal game yesterday and the approach wasn't too dissimilar to that without the quality of players.
Not willing to risk too much for the reward. Wolves in decent form. Frustrating but not the end of the world #nufc
Disappointing result given how much control of the game we had, too shot shy.

I’m sure energy levels are low, but we’ve not created anywhere near enough opportunities to shoot.

Only positives are that it’s a point on the road and a clean sheet neither of which have been common this season. #nufc

Deloitte Football money league out in 2 weeks. Expecting Ncle to have broken the 400m revenue ceiling. Lots of boring analysis to follow 🤣 #nufc

Great to have @chrisweatherspoon.bsky.social over here posting more regularly.
As a football finance geek his insight is invaluable. Here's hoping more come on the journey!
Great piece and he's absolutely right

"When a billionaire refuses to keep funding a club and it hurtles towards the cliff edge, nobody suggests that the private investment model of club ownership is broken and should be abandoned."

Indeed - look at the reaction to Chansiri and Sheffield Wednesday
I went to watch Exeter City, a fan-owned club that is struggling. Make no mistake: the ability of this model to survive is a litmus test for the future of English football.

Apologies to my fellow fan who I thought would appreciate that it was fitting playing a Joy Division song on the day Ian Curtis hometown club had a famous cup victory. They didn't look that appreciative to be fair 🫠 #nufc

Worth noting that Leeds and Bhmouth both play with intensity and to come through that and finish the stronger in both games is testament to this group of players.
Bruno, Tonali, and Jo are finding form at the right time. #nufc

#nufc really don't help themselves. 100s of fans not able to download their tickets this morning. Our digital capabilities are nowhere near where they should be. Club need to get this sorted asap.

Excited for how good Miley can get. His development this year suggests his ceiling is going to be high.
To have the confidence in the heat of the battle to trust your technique and bring the ball down under pressure and calmly manage the situation. I'm beyond excited #nufc

Did a bit of digging and was surprised to see that City didn't open their training ground until 6 years after their takeover. There is hope for us yet! #nufc

Reflecting on the season so far our attacking output is way below previous seasons. A lot of that is to do with Isak leaving and bringing in a replacement who requires a totally different approach. Add in no time to assimilate it's not surprising we're in a bit of a mess #nufc

It was telling Howe coming out to push for ambition. Time for PIF to put up or move us on. No excuse not to get the training ground and other big strategic decisions moving in early 2026.
Momentum is key to any project and this one is starting to stall #nufc

Changes need to happen up on Barrack Road, but not the manager. He has to carry can, but, more than anything, we need to hear from and - above all - see action from the ownership. Moving into the fifth year and there isn’t even a site identified for further investment. Stump up or piss off.
