One of my favourite authors John Connolly is great untapped source for film and TV adaptions of his works. Unfortunately the only film adaptation of one of his short stories “The New Daughter“ was critical and financial failure in 2009, that studios decided ”welp, no more adaptions for you pal”.

I got home from a walk the other day and felt a bug crawling on me. I was about to slap it to oblivion and then I saw it was a Coccinellidae AKA Ladybug, so let it go outside. Man I would have felt like a total piece of shit if I killed it. But fuck dem regular non pretty bugs.

A YouTuber I follow recently decided to show his face during videos rather than be mostly voice over. No problem with this, but he does it in a style where he doesn’t look directly into camera but looking away at a script on an off-screen monitor. Dude, don’t do this.. it looks so awful and low rent

I love watching Baseball but I’m not fully behind an individual team. First MLB game I attended live was Mets vs Rockies at Citi Field in 2023 and I got a Mets hat at the store cause I forgot my own. I don’t want to get behind a team (that won 1-0 on the day) just because I got a hat. #mlb

My Dad likes to watch old Parkinson interviews on YouTube. on the weekend for during a catchup he was watching one while waiting for dinner where Parky had an interview with David Frost. Of course my Simpsons addled brain could not resist saying ”HEY FROSTY. YOU WANT SOME SNOW, MAN!?”
