My hot take tonight: People trying to do Absolute Batman with their own IP are missing the big thing that made Absolute Batman so epic. Lots of panels per page.

Because the Eisner Awards gave the Eisner to Heidi MacDonald at San Diego Comic-Con rather than to me last year, I am going to invade Portland.

When talking smack about the absolute-ly most popular and well-reviewed comic being published right now, it might get back to the creators.

You've chosen to publicly criticise one of the hardest-working, most supportive entities in the UK community because you're not getting the response you wanted. We are not a commercial operation. We are a small group of volunteers and BF runs every year at a massive loss. You are not owed anything.

It is totally entitled. What you're expecting from people giving up their time for free on top of day jobs is unreasonable. We cannot respond individually to 100+ requests for coverage/reviews every single week. Where do you honestly expect me to find the time for that?

You do realise Neil that we get over 100 requests a week for coverage, that we're all doing this around full-time day jobs, in our own time, and we may just have personal matters at any given time that take priority? There's only so much we can do and this is very entitled behaviour.

Is it just me or is Trump building up to making Scotland part of the USA instead of the UK?

Okay, so I’ve talked about going to a lot more stage shows with the Central Tickets app. If you wanted to go and see Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy immersive at Hammersmith, it’s £15 rather than £52 on the app and they have just dropped a bunch of availability.

What are early examples of the trope where the bad guys' plan involves the expected response to their actions by authorities for the plan to work? Like Die Hard, making sure the FBI shut down the power to get into the safe, or Doctor Who's alien experts gathered in Number 10?
