I thought this piece was just going to be a leisurely shooting of fish in a barrel, but in fact it’s a sharp analysis and indictment of the commercial art scene, and of the lack of funding for high quality art by actual artists. Well worth a read.
Very fun review of Robbie Williams's terrible art exhibition, which, from the examples given, makes Rupi Kaur look like Wallace Stevens.

Here's something I've thought about quite regularly since I was a kid: if Henry VIII suddenly teleported through time into Leeds city centre today (and you were somehow tasked with looking after him), how would you begin to explain to him everything that was happening around him?

don't want to beef with the specific person who posted this but don't understand why so many people are reluctant to understand that, actually, to quite a lot of people, the idea of just staying at home alone all week fucking sucks? wanting to leave the house and talk to people is normal!

Just finished this and can honestly say I have never laughed so hard at anything in my life - It caused me severe abdominal pain. Do yourself a favour and get it.
