I get asked “what advice do you have for a kid who wants to draw comics” a lot, and I always say something like this. Just do it. Draw what you like, what makes you happy, whatever. You get good and develop a style just by doing it a lot. (I’m gonna get really good any day now!)
“Just draw” is an art advice that is dismissed too often
There is absolutely strength in just drawing, having fun and fuck around and find out and understands things in away that makes sense to you and then make them work for you and your art
