Good afternoon folks!

I have just launched a ko-fi to support Rhubarb Games.

My games will always be FREE to play, but if you feel like chucking me a few quid to keep me caffeinated and full of pastries, it would be greatly appreciated. ☕🥐

I have just listened to this on a long, dreary bus journey.

It’s wonderful!
I'm thrilled to welcome guest author @raynewman.bsky.social to Listen with Other. In series 5, Ray reads his new story The Interchange, with his own original music and location recordings. Find it at listenwithother.co.uk and wherever podcasts are found.

Started Caves of Qud on Switch replicating a build that has gotten me furthest in the game previously.

A mutant human with:
☣️ Heightened Quickness
☣️ Photosynthetic Skin
☣️ Regeneration
☣️ Spontaneous Combustion
☣️ Burgeoning
☣️ Psychometry

A fast-growing plant person who occasionally sets on fire!

I want to gush about this show so much, every episode there is a funny little detail, an interesting revelation or a layer of mystery that gets another hook in me.

I can tell I will watch it all over again when I’m done.
I’m about 3 episodes into Small Prophets and it is deserving of every accolade that has been given to it!

It’s requiring great restraint to not binge it all. I look forward to watching a new episode each night.

Fantastic telly!

I made a little doc about Talha and Jack and their last game Mashina and saw some of the most creative game making I’ve seen. They’re now applying this method to a horror game, So you should check out their new Kickstarter. You will play this game THIS YEAR.

Wizardry: The First Episode - Suffering of the Queen (1991) was a turn-based RPG by ASCII for the Nintendo Game Boy in Japan. The town of Llylgamin will become your second home as you embark on a standalone quest to confront an evil wizard and rescue the queen's sister! (a classic experience thread)

It gives me great pleasure thinking of all the new players visiting Golgotha for the first time and then later wondering why their character has a sore throat…
Caves of Qud is out now for Nintendo Switch!

It wasn't the rancid water or the snagging weeds that deterred travellers from the Old Bog Way: it was the endless sense of being watched.
