On This Day: Robert H. Jackson was appointed Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. This appointment was an early step on the path that would lead him to serve as Attorney General, Supreme Court Justice, and Chief Prosecutor at Nuremberg.
