I haven't talked to my mom since the day after Thanksgiving, when I was in an inpatient psych unit and she was busy moving to Florida. One of the most trans-antagonistic places in the country. She said "You think about you being trans more than anyone else does."

Thank Gd I had my mental breakdown immediately prior to the election and was able to take some time to get back on my feet. If I was as unwell now as I was in Nov I think this would have exceeded my ability to cope.
