I really want a blink dog irl now…
As a certified dog-lover, I've always thought Blink Dogs were pretty cool. I imagine my own lil pups bamfing in and out of sight while playing with them in the yard.

The Shadowdark #YearoftheMonster is going swimmingly so far! (3/365)

The after-school #DnD club I run for my students had a holiday party yesterday, and I had the kids make Beholder ornaments. I think they turned out great 😁

Can I offer you a bacon jalapeño deviled egg in this trying time?

Problem: I’ve been craving a Greggs steak bake, but since Greggs is a UK chain, the nearest location is roughly 4,400 miles away.

Solution: be the Greggs you wish to see in the world…

It seems pretty clear to me that dragon feces is going to have HP & Con benefits for dragonborns. Thinking here of stool transplants being used to treat irritable bowel syndrome IRL… dragon feces has to be chock full of the bacteria that a dragonborn microbiome needs, right?

#dnd #ttrpg
In D&D, what are the magical qualities of dragon feces?

If none yet, what might some of them be?

For sure, all dragon poop should clear the skin of pimples, blackheads, ingrown hairs, and other such temporary blemishes.

Super proud of my youngest: he just got finished GMing for the 1st time, running a one-shot he wrote himself for #Shadowdark! His friends loved it 🙂 He hand drew his own dungeon, and made a puzzle for his players to put together irl to reveal a secret room in the dungeon.

Optimist: the cup is half full
Pessimist: the cup is half empty
Tillichian Theologian: the task is to keep the cup, as a symbol of ultimate reality, translucent, lest it become an object of idolatry…
Optimist: The cup is half full.
Pessimist: The cup is half empty.
Historian* of Philosophy: This only seems like a philosophical problem because cups were often 4oz in this period, not 8oz.

* Contextualist
Optimist: The cup is half full.
Pessimist: The cup is half empty.
Medievalist: They had cups in the Middle Ages, you know.

After seeing a newsletter from The Arcane Library with this free monster earlier today, I challenged my 8th grade GMs to work it into their after-school sessions today… it was hilarious to hear the shrieks of laughter in my classroom as cranberry juice got into PCs eyes 😁

I’m having so much fun introducing my students to #shadowdark this semester… after a few homebrewed one shots, one of the groups will be meeting the Scarlet Minotaur tomorrow 😈

Reading Astrotopia for the 2nd time in 6 months - 1st time was for pleasure, 2nd time for one of the classes I’m taking - and somehow it’s even more on-point than it was in May! Mary-Jane Rubenstein just might be my favorite contemporary thinker… #theology #religion #philosophy #science #spacerace

Way too many to choose from, but I’ll start with:

Vaesen
Numenera
Shadowdark
Call of Cthulhu
The One Ring
I’d like to engage with more #ttrpg creatives. Whether you play, create or admire. Please engage so I can engage with you! 🧡
