The final indulgence. This Vintage Port from the Symington Estate is probably a re-corked Quarles Harris or Cockburn. ‘94 is rated as an ‘Outstanding’ vintage, this is sweeter, fruitier, intensely herbal/liquorish, a good Port though not nearly as refined as I’d expect for nearly 30 years in bottle.

Last beer o’the year…
The 2020 Fullers Vintage Ale, which is a lot better than the last one I tried, probably improved through keeping. I like the bitter orange and slightly burnt molasses flavour of this one.
