If it replaces anything from AB Inbev, or indeed the Marston’s stable, if’s an improvement. One of my regular outlets for Bass (as a guest) has it as one of their mostly very dull brown bitters, it hasn’t knocked the pale hoppy guests off so that’s a net gain for me.

I discovered a similarly recumbent Milestone with cut mark earlier this year.
There’s supposed to be a benchmark on a Milestone at Moreton in Marsh. Disappointingly I couldn’t find the stone where it should be, but walking back I spotted a recumbent slab of Cotswold stone in the grass verge. A little excavation revealed the eroded cut mark.

I discovered a similarly recumbent Milestone with cut mark earlier this year.
I see the arrow, and that looks like a bolt with datum line across it, 👍
