It would be very cool if we could all agree to delink the questions of "could any alternate strategy or messaging have won the 2024 election" from "what will help us win elections going forward." The ham-handed efforts to kludge these two things together are getting increasingly silly.

every culture has this problem but i genuinely think that latinidad in america is going to have one hell of a reckoning in the coming years with how sex, violence, and domination is normalized within the family and between generations.
Anna Paulina Luna just lied on CNN that the allegations about Matt Gaetz came out just now to sink his AG nomination, when in fact they have been circulating for more than three years. Disappointing that host Boris Sanchez let her get away with it.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.
