Or like an aggressive blush spread across his face in embarrassment, as though his whole head is on fire. To his displeasure, Genya’s brain is malfunctioning like he’s drunk and struggling to maintain his composure, his heart is thrashing like a gentle touch will rip right through him, and his emotions . . . well, he’s enraptured by her, an unexpected, all-consuming alchemy. He would never feel this way for a demon. He especially would never feel this way for Tanjiro’s younger sister Nezuko—that’s somehow even worse. Is he lying to himself? For 25 years our church has had a food pantry that has come to feed upwards of 500 local families each week and there’s no slowing down. It’s just one of the aspects of our faith community I love and why, despite the failings of American churches in general I continue to go and support church life.
