Or like an aggressive blush spread across his face in embarrassment, as though his whole head is on fire. To his displeasure, Genya’s brain is malfunctioning like he’s drunk and struggling to maintain his composure, his heart is thrashing like a gentle touch will rip right through him, and his emotions . . . well, he’s enraptured by her, an unexpected, all-consuming alchemy. He would never feel this way for a demon. He especially would never feel this way for Tanjiro’s younger sister Nezuko—that’s somehow even worse. Is he lying to himself?
